American West Heritage Center
A 160-acre living history museum in Wellsville just south of Logan, the American West Heritage Center transports visitors to the Old West spanning the years 1820 to 1920. Costumed interpreters, interactive exhibits and special events bring Native American, mountain man and pioneer life to life in an immersive and unforgettable setting.
Nora Eccles Harrison Museum of Art
Located on the Utah State University campus, the Nora Eccles Harrison Museum of Art features a nationally recognized collection of modern and contemporary visual art with a particular strength in ceramics and Native American artwork. Admission is free and changing exhibits make it worth a return visit.
Tony Grove Lake
Tucked into the Bear River Mountains at 8,100 feet, Tony Grove Lake is one of Northern Utah's most spectacular alpine destinations. Hiking, fishing, paddling and some of Cache Valley's most stunning wildflower displays make it a must-visit summer destination.
Hardware Ranch Wildlife Management Area
A winter sanctuary for one of Utah's largest elk herds, Hardware Ranch offers a one-of-a-kind wildlife viewing experience in the mountains east of Logan. Guided sleigh rides through the elk feeding grounds are a highlight of any winter visit to Cache Valley.
Utah State University
The USU campus is an attraction in its own right, home to the Geology Museum, the Nora Eccles Harrison Museum of Art, the free Sculpture Walking Tour and some of the most beautiful grounds in Utah. Worth a stroll any time of year.
